Exceptional lifting with cranes

The Marta Fernando Group specializes in the lifting and handling of exceptional loads and large capacities, addressing customers who require out-of-gauge transport, i.e. beyond certain dimensional and weight limits.


We speak of exceptional loads when the following thresholds are exceeded:

• Length: over 2.55 meters (2.60 m for controlled temperature transport);
• Length: over 16.50 meters (for articulated vehicles or tractors with trailer/semi-trailer), or 18.75 meters (for road trains);
• Weight: greater than 18–20 tons;
• Height: over 4 metres.

Thanks to a fleet of highly equipped cranes and mobile cranes, the Group is able to manage every phase of the operation with maximum safety, precision and compliance with current regulations.
